Service at the hotel, including buffet area, was outstanding as was the room.
I have been a happy Marriott member for over 20 years. Unfortunately, this visit and this room was unsatisfactory. The room smelled moldy, moist and packed down. I did not move because I felt like opening the sliding door for some fresh air would help. It did not. The carpet in the hotel is gray and the walls are gray which makes for a little darker room that I like. The carpet in the hallways should be cleaned too (larged stains and dirty carpet makes the stay below expectations for a Marriott). The front office staff (I only say two) did not smile and gave very little eye contact which gives an impression of them not wanting to be there or that the customer is a bother. Lastly, I had a two night stay (1 business day and one personal day).
