Very understanding front desk staff, especially in a time when you needed to get a room and it’s a hurricane.
The room was nice. We arrived late due to our flight and the doors were locked to check in. We were at the door and the man ignored me. I figured we were at the wrong place and drove around the building. We did finally figure out there was a window to check in and the man finally acknowledged my presence. We went to our room in the back and there were men sitting outside with beer sitting right where the stairs to the 2nd floor are. This was not comfortable as there were two women and a 6 year old. Then one day we were leaving there was a woman laying on the platform to go downstairs playing with herself! I put the 6 yr old in the room and asked her to move and she started swearing at me but she finally left. Then when we were checking out, at the other end of our floor there was a metal trash can with a fire in it. Last but not least the screaming in the parking lot at two in the morning waking up myself and the child. We also asked for extra towels and house keeping just brought us a small bath rug. It's a shame, the rooms were nice and so was the pool but we will never stay there again. We really didn't feel safe there.
