Excellent stay. All needs were professionally met or exceeded. Extremely impressed by the staff, always helpful AND courteous.
Would go there again, it is magnificent and such a part of our history.
The staff at the hotel was excellent. My only problem was when I booked the hotel I did it in thru an Expedia agent who lied to me saying it was non refundable. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get a refund as I was able to book a room directly at the hotel under reserved rooms for Wedding. I checked in April to see if the reservation I previously made with Expedia was cancelled and told it was. When I called a few days before July 7, I was told by Thayer hotel staff that I was down for two rooms. Fortunately my calling a few days before arrival resolved the problem. Once at the Hotel the staff was great. You have a proper with Expedia and their agents.
