The Hyatt Place Boston/Medford offers a variety of amenities including a bar/lounge, parking, elevator, gym, pool, restaurant, spa, WiFi/Internet, pet friendly, laundry, non-smoking rooms, breakfast, air conditioning, 24/7 front desk, business center, and meeting rooms.
The place is clean, most of the staff falls into the very friendly category. One person, Ramona, is over the top. Among other things, she work the breakfast room. She paid attention to every person who entered the room. She was on top of every detail, smiling the whole time. Her enthusiasm is infectious. She was there three of my five days and every day was the same. It took two people to do her job on her days off and it was obvious that they couldn't wait for breakfast to be over. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom is real small; one has to step around the side of the toilet in order to shut the door. (The door clears the front edge of toilet by two inches.) The shower is good. The TV is nice enough; I could find a listing of a lot of channels but not what was showing on each channel. Someone there apparently thinks that everyone who goes to the Boston area is a democrat, so naturally, there is no Fox News channel at this Hyatt location. In spite of that, I'll stay there again when I'm back in the area.

I was taking a group of students to the Harvard Debate tournament. We needed six rooms for two nights. The hotel gave us a great rate that was about half what I was quoted from other hotels. The rooms were really spacious and clean. It felt like having my own apartment. Great breakfast and service. The front desk was wonderful in making sure our stay was great. I will stay again.
Ramona was extremely helpful and cheery while working the complimentary breakfast. It was a busy morning but she handled things professionally with an upbeat personality! Whatever you needed, she provided. Definitely an employee who you’d want around for a long time. This actually made our stay even better.
We offer a free hot breakfast buffet. Including egg sandwiches, waffles, pancakes and French toast. Also included yogurt, oatmeal station, bagels, muffins, breads, fruit salads, whole fruits, coffee, teas and juices. Breakfasts are available Monday–Friday: 6:30–9:30; Saturday & Sunday: 7:00–10:00.

Great place to stay. Room was clean, employees were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the bar after our show on Dec 14 was great. A definite place I will visit again!
