We were evacuees from Altadena fire like most others then. Bed very nice, TV works. Royce restaurant, wife loves it. Service very good.

We had an overall lovely night here while some construction was being done on our home nearby. The food at the Langham is overall very good and the staff is extremely nice and attentive. However, at dinner in the Tap Room, the food took a long time to come out and when it did two dishes were cold. The server handled it very well and removed all three entrees from the bill but it was surprising that it happened in the first place. The next morning I placed a simple breakfast to go order at The Terrace (a croissant, coffee and fruit plate). The hostess, who was very nice, said it would take 10 minutes but it was more like 25 and then part of the order was missing. It was unfortunate because I was there with a young child who was anxious to get to the pool before we had to check out. These things happen, but at the prices and service level of the Langham, it's fair to expect better. Hopefully it will be possible to order breakfast food to the Royce Pool in the future. This is still a gorgeous hotel and a comfortable stay and I would certainly stay again.

This is my fourth day in this hotel over the last year and every experience has been lovely. It begins with the wonderful concierge staff and all the hospitality team has been trained to make you feel like an old friend.
