Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel

We wanted to stay outside the city and still be able to visit the intended tourist sites. This hotel provided comfortable accommodations with little fanfare. We appreciated the night desk clerk's pleasant no nonsense check in, answering all the questions we didn't know to ask. The breakfast buffet was simple and nourished us for busy day trips in Boston and western Mass. Thanks for a clean, pleasant, quiet experience.

So .. just average I’d say. The bed was hard, there was chipped paint in the ceiling, the sink was rusted on the edges, the water in the faucet would barely come out. The website says breakfast lunch and dinner but there is no food between 11am and 5pm and the food was not good. So.. there are many options so I probably would try something else next time. The three stars is because the staff was really friendly and efficient.

Parking a problem. I paid using the parking app before I realized I just had to tap the room key. There must be a better way to inform incoming guests of the procedure. Meanwhile I’m out some money.

We chose the Sheraton Needham because we are visiting our adult children and grandchildren for a week. They don’t have a guest room in their home and we needed a hotel that would provide a “home away from home” with amenities for the entire week. The hotel’s public areas and rooms have been remodeled recently and the design is modern yet comfortable. The rooms are clean and well designed. There is a lot of natural light! Our grandkids came twice to swim in the very large indoor pool. In fact, a lot of the hotel guests brought their young children to swim. At one point on a Saturday afternoon, there must have been 20 kids enjoying the pool while parents or grandparents sat around the edge in comfortable lounge chairs. The pool area is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows so it feels light and open to the beautiful outdoors that surround this hotel high up on a hill. The fitness room is fully furnished with treadmills, free weights, a stability ball and exercise/yoga mats. There is a full bar in the lobby which we enjoyed a couple of evenings. And a small Starbucks for coffee and snacks. There is a restaurant on site (of sorts) but we didn’t eat there during our stay. The rooms are clean and supplied with toiletries. There is a hair dryer in each room. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Good, clean, well managed hotel. Just what I needed for a couple of overnights. I'd recommend if you need a place near Needham.

The hotel was clean, and the employees were helpful and courteous.

The hotel room was comfortable. The hotel's parking garage was nearby. The hotel has rooms for special events. I have a note of appreciation that the hotel accommodated a small number of extra hours for room and parking to attend an afternoon event in the hotel.
