On a recent East Coast Road trip, I stayed in a series of Holiday Inn Express hotels. By far, the Peekskill, HIE, is the best of the 3. (One in Apex, NC, the other in MD. Though many amenities are similar (much the same as Hampton Inn having a site to site design execution), the Peekskill branch continues to satisfy. I have stayed here before, the others were 1st time encounters. I’d especially like to mention Michael (night shift) and Marco (day shift), both of whom were friendly, helpful and positive in all aspects of their job duties. It was especially gratifying to recognize Michael from a previous trip and he recognized me in return. One doesn’t often see that in a hotel chain.
