The Retreat on Charleston Peak offers easy access to downhill skiing and is located in the mountains, providing stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel itself is a quaint little getaway, with the location in the mountains of Kyle canyon, just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel is showing its age but is still quite nice.
We love coming here to escape Las Vegas heat. Friendly staff and dog friendly. The restaurant is friendly and so accommodating to our dog.
The view is majestic and worth the trip.
Enjoyed the food, staff was very friendly. Hotel room was cozy and comfortable.

We arrived at night. We had a quiet dinner before the restaurant closed. The morning brought a refreshing surprise. There are trails, caves and evidence of mountain goats. It seems the locals host special events here. For a break away from the everyday and everything, I’d recommend.
