The Lucerne is a lovely little hotel on West 79th Street. The staff are gracious hands happy. This makes e think the hotel takes as good care of its staff as it does its clients! The room I was assigned was basic and clean the fact that there was no doc on the floor except for a medium sized, washable rug. Intelligent!
Solid staff. Well maintained for an older hotel.
Would definitely recommend.
I have stayed at the Lucerne many times with my late husband and the last two years I came alone. The staff and management deserve a 10+ in Customer Service. They go out of their way to make everyone feel special. I’d like to give a special shout out to Effy, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

This was our first stay at the Lucerne and we will return. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and the fitness room was well equipped.
