I have stayed at the Lucerne many times with my late husband and the last two years I came alone. The staff and management deserve a 10+ in Customer Service. They go out of their way to make everyone feel special. I’d like to give a special shout out to Effy, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home.
This was our first stay at the Lucerne and we will return. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and the fitness room was well equipped.

The Lucerne is a great example of an unassuming, independent hotel on the Upper West Side. The rooms are spacious for NYC, the location is ideal for museums, great restaurants and shopping. The staff, particularly Debra at the front desk, are helpful and want to ensure that everyone enjoys their stay. We stay here whenever we are in Manhattan.
