I have stayed at the Lucerne many times with my late husband and the last two years I came alone. The staff and management deserve a 10+ in Customer Service. They go out of their way to make everyone feel special. I’d like to give a special shout out to Effy, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home.
This was our first stay at the Lucerne and we will return. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and the fitness room was well equipped.
Will probably not stay there again.
The Lucerne is a great example of an unassuming, independent hotel on the Upper West Side. The rooms are spacious for NYC, the location is ideal for museums, great restaurants and shopping. The staff, particularly Debra at the front desk, are helpful and want to ensure that everyone enjoys their stay. We stay here whenever we are in Manhattan.
Breakfast is available at Nice Matin restaurant attached to the hotel for a charge. In room dining is also available by Nice Matin

I loved the Lucerne Hotel. It is a quiet elegant hotel located in a lovely area of NY. It also has a five star restaurant attached to it, which is excellent. The staff at Lucerne are the best. Very professional, kind and always willing to go the extra mile. It felt like coming home to family. It was the first time I stayed there without my late husband and everyone went out of their way to make me feel at home. The room was lovely and more than adequate for my needs. I highly recommend this hotel.
