I'll start out by saying always at "The Garland." I couldn't help but be sadly disappointed by several things that became outstanding by way of repetition. Breakfast in room: cold food, no utensils or napkins. Food service at pool same thing. sharable food no plates, no utensils. Perhaps this is a way of being cost effective but certainly makes for sloppy eating. Maybe a review, with staff, of providing service in this area wouldn't hurt. The Garland is such a lovely place and the personnel is sad well. Maybe a reminder would solve the issue that was discussed between guests.

The staff at the hotel were all professional, efficient and very friendly and welcoming. The property is both sprawling and cozy with lots of spaces inside and out to relax and enjoy. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The amenities were very well done. Will stay here again.
